Amana Oktoberfest - October 5 & 6, 2024

On the first weekend in October each year the Amana Colonies in central Iowa celebrate Oktoberfest. Who better to host an authentic Oktoberfest than this traditional German settlement? Amana has it all; a big Festhalle with music and dancing, spacious grounds, locally produced beer and wine, wonderful food, shopping and music throughout the village, and even a parade!
The Musikmeisters have performed at the Amana Ocktoberfest every other year for decades. It's a weekend we look forward to. As you can see from the photos, there is no shortage of fun on Oktoberfest weekend!
